There are cheap ones coming out of China but beware because while these are a nice introduction to the lost art of mechanical watches, they are cheaply produced and throw away devices. The lack of skilled watch repair people and the scarcity of repair parts for these Chinese movements makes them throw away material should they break or need servicing, much like many cheap quartz watches which are discarded rather than having the silver bracelet battery changed. The really cheap watches with cheap cases which break down or corrode usually end up in landfills at the end of their useful lives.
